Optional Weekend Tours

Based on the high level of interest, we are pleased to offer three optional weekend excursions as part of the Summer School program. These trips are a wonderful opportunity to explore more of the Czech Republic with your fellow participants.

Optional weekend trips are planned:

1) On Saturday (August 1) there will be an excursion to the iconic Karlštejn Castle - one of the most iconic castles in the Czech Republic, founded in the 14th century by Emperor Charles IV. The castle is surrounded by beautiful nature and rich history.

2) On Sunday (August 2) a trip to the historic town of Kutná Hora, famous not only for its UNESCO-listed monuments but also as the setting of the immersive video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

3) On Sunday (August 2) trip to Karlovy Vary, famous for its elegant spa architecture and healing thermal springs.

 

These activities offer the perfect balance of learning, cultural exploration, and relaxation.
